Permission Letters

The permission letters are written for the purpose of giving or seeking approval for performing some action or the other. It is a document that is explicitly necessary for certain actions to take place otherwise it might give rise to various social, economical or legal issues. When constructing a permission letter, there is always a fifty percent chance of it getting rejected. For this reason, it is needed to be constructed carefully. The permission letter can be written from both perspectives, that is, it can be written for seeking permission or it can written as a means of giving permission. However, irrespective of its kind some of the points remain unaltered are as follows:

The event for which permission is being asked for/ given should be clearly mentioned at the beginning. It is important that the letter remains brief, simple and yet persuasive when asking for permission. In case of giving permission, the tone needs to be authoritative and formal. The reasons must be clearly stated for giving/seeking permission. It is important that this is clearly expressed with simple language.

It is also important to end the letter with a grateful tone even if the possibility of receiving permission is unlikely.
