Mr. Peter Lee

Full Circles Communications

Dear Mr. Lee:

This is to inform you that we have to cancel our meeting scheduled today at 4PM. The meeting had to be cancelled since our general manager, Sherwin Lewis, had a family emergency. The meeting shall be scheduled anytime soon as we need to discuss the promotion and hiring of the new writers in your team.

I hope this would not be a big issue on your schedule today.

Also, please be ready with your presentation about the performance assessment of our company writers as this will be a major agenda on our upcoming meeting. For any questions, you can directly go to my office so we can discuss it further.

Thank you and have a nice day ahead.

Regards,

Art Smith

Order Cancellation Letter

Ms. Robert King

General Manager

De Castro Hardware

Dear Mr. King:

I would like to notify you that we are officially cancelling our order of 10 sacks of cement. We have talked about it over the phone, and I would like to make it formal. Our order has been delayed for a week, and we are not pleased on your customer service.

We understand that you had some problems with your own supplies, but please understand that we have a deadline to beat in renovating a part of our office. We cannot afford to further delay the construction of such as our expansion is actually long overdue.

We really hope you can solve your business problems immediately so the other clients do have to suffer from your service.

We sincerely thank you for the effort, and we hope that you succeed in your future endeavors.

Sincerely yours,

Jeff Walker

Business Partner Appreciation Letter

Ms. Heidee Martin

Co-owner

Boston Café

Dear Heidee:

I would like to express my gratitude for trusting me as a business partner for the past five years. It is with great pleasure that I get to work closely with you. It is interesting and rewarding to look back on how we started in building our café business. We almost started from scratch, and both of us were not experienced in running such a business. I would like you to know how much I appreciate your efforts in building and running this business. I am looking forward in spending more years—or decades perhaps—with you in running this business.

I hope we would keep our communication lines open for every issue that concerns our business. Thank you once again, and more power.

Regards,

Alfred Collins

Deadline Extension Appeal Letter

Prof. Candy Jackson

Professor

Institute of Sociology

California University

Dear Prof. Jackson:

The undersigned students would like to appeal for the extension of the deadline of our research paper on Collective Behavior. We think that 5 days as time frame to pass the research paper is not enough as the instructions tell us to visit different communities to observe events and activities related with our topic Collective Behavior. All of us are enrolled in other subject, and we think it is not practical to be absent from our other classes to work on the research paper.

We hope you can grant us with a week extension on your proposed deadline. This is also to ensure the quality of research paper we are going to draft. We hope you can give a favorable answer to our appeal.

Respectfully yours,

Financial Help Appeal Letter

December 1, 2010

Ms. Pamela Scott

Manager

Thrift Shop

Dear Ms Scott:

We are Sow the Seeds Foundation, a non-government organization aimed at helping the underprivileged children in the community. We are currently organizing a gift-giving activity that would benefit indigent children in the community. However, given the non-profit nature of our group, we only have limited resources that we can mobilize in order to make the activity possible.

In this light, we would like to appeal for a financial help from your end. Your help can be in cash or in kind—whatever you think you can give for the welfare of the children.

Our target is to help at least 100 children, and we plan to give away toys, food, and some school supplies. There will also be a formal full of games and fun activities for the children-beneficiaries. We would appreciate the help you can extend to our group.

Respectfully Yours,

Marie Young
