Internship Letters

Internship letters are documents which are sent by an individual seeking to participate as an intern in a company or institution. The internship letter is a formal letter which must be written in the proper tone, with gravity and dignity, and care should be taken to ensure that the internship letter sets forth all the important information about the applicant. Such letters are also statements of intent which identify the reasons for the candidate’s wishing to join a particular internship.

Internship letters must be written in humble and courteous manner. The letter must express what kind of internship the sender wishes to apply to, his reasons for applying for the same, his educational and professional qualifications and why he should be selected for the internship.

Such letters must eschew being boastful or overbearing. There should be no hint of coerciveness in the internship letter. The candidate’s skills must be set forth plainly and with care, so that the internship letter creates maximum impact on perusal.

Letters like internship letters can be written by professional letter writers as well, or they can be downloaded from the internet. In the latter scenario, care should be taken to ensure that the letters are modified according to the needs of the particular individual and organization.
