Death of Long time Employee

Mrs. Edith Franklin,                                                                                                                4575 Village Drive
Bedfordshire

Dear Mrs. Franklin:

I was terribly shocked to learn about Franklin’s death and I would like to express my sincere sympathy to you and your family on behalf of the senior management team here at Interconnect Corporation. Frank, as he is used to be called with fondness by many, was highly respected by managers and employees alike throughout the entire company. He was regarded as a visionary leader by anyone who ever worked with him.

Frank’s contributions to this company during his 17 years of dedicated and selfless service were quite distinguishable in many aspects. In the early years, he was a major part of our initial expansion overseas, and most of the offices he set up in Europe are still operating very successfully. In recent years, Frank was a key player in our transformation to full digital technology, a move which catapulted us into a leadership position in the industry. His contributions to this company can never be forgotten.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences at this difficult time and please convey these sentiments on to your children.

With sincere sympathy

Henry Lamington

President and CEO

Business Condolence Letter

Dear Mr. Collins

I am deeply saddened to hear about Jonathan’s passing. He and I have been in the company for more than 20 years as business partners and we became close to each other like brothers.

Jonathan and I were very close to each other. Together, we shared a shared most of our difficulties and trials especially for establishing our business. I wish that I could do something to undo what happened and bring back my friend. I can say that the world is a lesser place without Jonathan in it. However, we have to be strong. We should set in our minds that he is in a place where there is happiness and joy.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. If I can be of any help, please give me a call. My thoughts are will you always especially in this difficult time.

Sincerely yours,

Robert Bacon

Writing A Condolence Letter

A condolence letter is a good way to show a friend or a relative that you care for their loss and that you are willing to extend any help that you can give to help them recover from the tragedy.

Below are some tips that you can use when writing a condolence letter:

  • It is best to start your letter with telling the recipient how saddened you are to hear about their loss. Do not use offending words such as dead, died, brutally killed, suicide, etc.
  • It is also best to say something good and memorable about the person who died. If you do not know the person, you can say that you wished you had the opportunity to meet them. Sharing stories about the person is also advised.
  • If you were shocked by the death of the person, you can say so. However, if the death was anticipated, you can say kind words like, “he is at peace now”.
  • You can close the letter by offering companionship and support that you can readily give.

Dear Mr. Abignale

I would like to extend my sincere condolences on the recent passing of your mother, Ms. Natasha Bedingfield. Although I do not know her personally, still I recognize her generosity and kindness she showed to people she met.

Not long ago, I also experienced the death in my family, my father, and I know how hard it must be. However, with the help of my friends and relatives, I was able to move on with my life. I was able to stand up amidst all these trials.

Please accept my deepest condolences at this difficult time. Your mother was a remarkable woman, and she made a huge impact in the lives of many people.

If I can be of any help to you, never hesitate to give me a call. I would be glad to give you some assistance.

Very truly yours,

Max Smith

Condolence Letter

Dear Mrs. Smith,

Although we have never met personally, your daughter and I became close friends during our high school days. I was dismayed to hear about his passing so I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

As her friend, I can say that Jessica was a person full compassion and optimism. During our high school days, she helped me with my assignments and projects. I knew her as a good person. She always encouraged me to be at my best and helped me all along. You must be very proud of her. She was the top student of our class and have achieved great honors and appreciations.

Please let me know if I can be of any help from you in these difficult times. I will always be here with you. God bless you and your family.

With warmest regards,

Candy Pippins
