Subject: Apology for faulty goods
Dear Mr Jones,
It is with great concern that I address the issue of damaged goods delivered to your company on our behalf on June 10, 2012 (order number: 989831XF) and I would like deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to you due to problems in the materials. I would like to stress that all the materials send to our business partners are thoroughly checked at three levels because we understand the importance of the good quality of materials and how they are used for your clothing line.
But this time due to an oversight we made the mistake of sending you the order which was to be discarded instead of sending you the right materials. This is unacceptable and we are very embarrassed by out error. I would like to mention here that as soon as we came to know what happened, we immediately sent the right order so that your time is not wasted any further and we will not charge you anything for this delivery.
We are very sorry for this and hope that you continue to do business with us.
Yours sincerely
Ned Burns
