Subject: Apology for my misbehavior

Dear Ms Williams,

Please accept this letter as my formal apology for causing you emotional distress with my words on June 9, 2012 at our board meeting. It was not my intention to make things uncomfortable between us and use hurtful actions but I deeply regret my words and I would do anything to take them back. You are a very valuable member of our board and I respect your opinions very much.

In retrospect I believe the argument happened as a result of a misunderstanding between you and me and things just escalated from there. However, that was no excuse for my behavior and this incident will help me remember to think before I speak so that I do not cause inconvenience or damage to any future personal and professional relationships. I would like to mention that I admire your poise and how you did not lash back at me although I used harsh words for you.

Once again, I am very sorry about what happened and deeply regret my behavior. You can contact me at my home number 979731234 if you would like to continue this conversation.

Yours sincerely

Jake Remore
