Sub: Appointment as a principal agent
Dear Sir,
With reference to the quotations received for the distribution of Cotton Fabric manufactured by our company; we are pleased to inform you that you have been selected as the principle agent of the entire area.
The appointment is with effect from 1st August, 2012 and the appointment shall be for an initial period of 2 years and after that the company shall assess the performance and increase the time period further. The next appointment shall be subject to the approval of the General Body meeting.
You shall have the right to make your sub agents and commission agents. They shall not be directly dealing with the company. In case of commission agents you have the right to fix commission area wise and you may inform the company.
You as an exclusive agent will have all the rights and authority to sell the products either in cash or in credit which ever you may deem fit. In case of credit purchases the risk shall be yours and you will have the sole responsibility of collecting the money from the creditors.
We are enclosing the agreement with this appointment letter and you are requested to sign one copy and send the same back to us.
