Subject: Request for cancellation of order
Dear Mr. Moore,
This letter is in regards to the order placed by me at your store on 10th of May 2012 for delivery of monthly grocery items at my residence. This is to bring to your notice that I would like to request you to cancel the order as I have to go out of town.
Every month I place an order at your store for groceries required to be delivered at my residential address. I make the payment after the groceries are delivered. Similarly this month too I had placed an order and the groceries that were supposed to be delivered by 15th of May. But all a sudden some official work has come up and I will have to go out of town for a month on official tour. As a result I will have to cancel the request. If the groceries are delivered, my money will be wasted as I won’t be there to use them and it will expire.
I hope you understand my problem and keep my request for cancellation.
Regards,
Chris Evans
