I am writing this letter to convey my best wishes for Merry Christmas and a year ahead filled with joy and good health.
Your son may not be able to spend the Christmas with you this year as an urgent project has come up and I have to go abroad for that purpose. I will be missing the lavish dinner cooked by you. I will also miss the Christmas cake baked by you. If possible, save a slice for me. I remember that every year you would give me the gift I ask for but this year I wish that you get the gift you wish for.
