Tax receipt letter

Room 201,

Boulevard road,

Madison

January 2010

Dear Taxpayer,

The property tax receipt of the City of Madison has been divided into five parts. The Madison Metropolitan Area has the largest share which is followed by the city and a small amount goes to the forestry tax.

The city budget also includes park improvements, road projects, energy savings initiatives, improved library halls and other programs to maintain and improve the quality life of the city of Madison. The city budget has also made the following investments including: Increasing Police Resources, Targeting Bad Landlords, Strengthening Neighbourhoods and Programs for Young People.

So, henceforth, I have enclosed the property tax receipt of 2010. As, I know it’s very difficult to pay the property tax bill. I just hope that you all agree with the investments that we’re making today as worthy enough. For any doubts, please feel free to contact me at any moment.

Sincerely,

J. J. D’Souza

Mr. A Smith

Date: 30-12-2009

Subject: Tax Planning Letter for the Year- End 2009

Dear Mr. Smith,

As it seems evident that the taxes would soon go higher, so we have approached you at the year end. It has been observed that in the past few years, tax legislation has provided lower tax rates and provided tax deductions and credits.

And, the fact is this that most of these provisions would expire at the end of 2010 and also the current revenue which provides fund for the health care would reform which leads to inevitably higher taxes.

So, the more focus has been given on the health care legislation. But if the minimum tax level remains unchanged then it would affect more than 27 million taxpayers.

So, it is the right time for the tax payers to identify and review the overall tax strategy.

Yours Sincerely,

Maveron Consulting Inc.

Property tax appeal letter

Mr. William Smith

Sr. Manager- Property Concerns

Neu Star Property Dealer Pvt. Ltd.

Dear Mr. Smith

I am writing this property tax appeal letter regarding the tax payments which I have made to Neu Star Property Dealer Pvt. Ltd. for a plot which was purchased by me on February 11th, 2010. But I have realized after the payment that I have paid an extra tax than the current tax tariff in the market.

You can find the details in the attached copy of property tax payment in which the payment difference is clearly visible. I am well aware of the fact that it is too late to raise this issue, but it is a matter of concern for me and it is my humble request to you to look into the matter and refund the excess tax amount.

Waiting eagerly for your early action in this regard

Thanks and Regards,

Joseph Harrison
