Resignation Letter With Regret

Dear Sir,

I have rightly or wrongly been accused of being too faithful with this company, and have stayed longer than my peers. And in this, you can gauge my endless faith in your management and in the company.

However, it is with utmost regret that I have to tender my resignation from my job. I want it to be effective immediately. The reasons for this decision are purely personal, and do not have anything to do with the company, the management or its employees.

I have known most of you for so long and have come to treat you as my personal friends. It is with utmost feeling of regret therefore, that I have to leave your company.
